ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

PMC is currently seeking an electrical engineer to join our team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Assists the engineer of record with design approaches for lighting, power and systems
Performs data collection and/or field verification
Produces detailed engineering drawings, based on applicable codes and standards
Works with a team to ensure disciplines are coordinated and delivered prior to project deadlines
Coordinates with client, internal design team members, project managers
Reviews shop drawings and product data
Attends regularly scheduled Owner-Architect-Contractor meetings and calls
Performs on-site observations during construction
Coordinates design requirements with contractors and equipment suppliers
Performs final punch-list site visits and generates reports
Participates in PMC University continuing education program as a presenter and student

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from an EAC/ABET-accredited engineering program
Passing score on the NCEES Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam/Licensed E.I.T. is desirable, but not required
Self-performing and capable of learning design tasks with oversight from a professional engineer
Presents a positive, team-focused attitude to both clients and peers
Demonstrates attention to detail and organizational and time management skills
Able to work independently on multiple projects in a given time period
Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 suite
Autodesk Revit experience is desirable, but not required
Previous experience is desirable, but not required
